Let’s start with an understatement: It was a wonderful weekend, until it wasn’t. Dusting off the old blog to get this all out of my brain, knowing it will help (me, at least). This has taken weeks to write because I’ve had to step away and come back multiple times (+ my 2nd bout with covid). It’s a trail mix of elation, friends, and love, that was blindsided by utter tragedy.
